VP - David Lee Huntington – Founder and Industrial Innovator

David Lee Huntington is a distinguished entrepreneur, engineer, and business leader whose career spans more than five decades in industrial automation, oil and gas, heavy construction, and electrical power systems. His vision, technical mastery, and leadership have driven innovation across industries ranging from steel and paper manufacturing to global energy production, power distribution, and large-scale infrastructure development.

Early Career and the Founding of IDM Controls

In 1975, David founded IDM Controls, a pioneering company specializing in industrial drives and maintenance services for steel mills, paper mills, refineries, and other major industrial operations. Through his hands-on leadership and commitment to reliability, IDM Controls became a trusted name in precision automation and industrial performance.

After 25 years of success, the company was acquired in 2000 by Omron, a global leader in industrial automation and control technologies based in Japan.

Expansion into Oil and Gas Manufacturing

Following the sale of IDM Controls, David established IDM Equipment, an oil and gas drilling rig manufacturing company recognized for its engineering excellence and global reach. Under his direction, IDM delivered high-specification rigs to clients worldwide, including Egyptian Drilling Company, Abraj, Enafor, ENTP, Trinidad Drilling, Grey Wolf Drilling, and Maersk.

His leadership established IDM as an industry benchmark for innovation, safety, and quality in rig design and manufacturing.

Entrepreneurship in Drilling Operations

Building on his success in manufacturing, David co-founded Axis Drilling, an intercoastal barge rig drilling company that operated successfully before being acquired by Trinidad Drilling

He also co-founded Orion Drilling Company, a North American land-based drilling contractor that grew to operate 19 rigs across South Texas, West Texas, and Pennsylvania. These ventures highlight David’s unique ability to combine engineering expertise with strategic business vision—building organizations that thrived in demanding global markets.

Expansion into Heavy Construction

In addition to his work in energy and industrial systems, David owns KW Building & Development / Global Excavation, a licensed heavy construction contracting company with projects across California, Nevada, and Arizona.

KW Building & Development operates a fleet of large-scale earthmoving and construction equipment, enabling the company to handle complex infrastructure and site development projects with precision and efficiency.

This venture reflects David’s continued commitment to building enterprises that merge technical capability with real-world execution and excellence.

Keith Hoover – President, Industrial Oilfield and Marine Components (IOM Companies)

Keith Hoover is the founder and president of Industrial Oilfield and Marine Components (IOM Companies), a leader in high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage power distribution systems serving the oil and gas, data center, and renewable energy industries.

Early Career

Keith began his career in the oil and gas sector with a hands-on approach — manufacturing, assembling, and servicing drilling equipment in the field. His technical background and global experience traveling to support customers worldwide provided him with a deep understanding of industrial systems and the critical importance of performance, reliability, and safety in demanding environments.

Advancing through the ranks, Keith transitioned from field service to technical support and equipment sales, combining engineering knowledge with customer-focused problem solving. In 2008, he co-founded Integrated Drive Systems (IDS), where he and his team designed and built high-spec SCR and AC power systems for drilling rigs and other complex industrial applications. Following the successful sale of IDS to Orion Drilling, Keith returned to his entrepreneurial roots to launch Industrial Oilfield and Marine Components (IOM Companies).

Current Leadership – IOM Companies

Under Keith’s leadership, IOM Companies has become a diverse, innovation-driven organization providing engineered power solutions for mission-critical applications. The company’s expertise spans substation and pad-mounted transformers, switchgear, cable assemblies, and power infrastructure designed for data centers, energy producers, and industrial operators worldwide.

Keith attributes much of his success to building strong relationships with customers and fostering teamwork within his organization. He understands that successful projects depend not only on technical excellence but also on communication, trust, and collaboration between clients, partners, and teams.

Legacy

Today, Keith continues to lead IOM Companies with a vision centered on reliability, innovation, and customer partnership, delivering high-power solutions that enable the industries driving global progress.
